Leaders, stakeholders, and key members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Papalanto Ward, Ewekoro Local Government Area of Ogun State, have unanimously endorsed Hon. Biodun Adeleye, FCTI, FCA, as the party’s consensus candidate for the 2027 Ogun State House of Assembly (OGHA) election.
The endorsement, which marks a significant political development within the ward, was formally announced on Friday, April 24, 2026, during a high-profile stakeholders’ meeting held at the APC Ward Secretariat in Papalanto.
The gathering attracted influential party figures, elders, and grassroots leaders across the ward, reflecting a broad-based show of support for Adeleye’s candidacy ahead of the 2027 electoral contest.

Speaking on behalf of the stakeholders, former Caretaker Chairman and Executive Vice Chairman of Ewekoro Local Government, Alhaji Afeez Olawoyin, described the endorsement as a collective and strategic decision rooted in confidence, trust, and the desire for quality representation.
According to him, party leaders carefully assessed the political landscape, leadership qualities, and capacity of potential aspirants before reaching a unanimous resolution in support of Hon. Biodun Adeleye.
