Prince Rasheed Adegboyega Adewusi has urged Muslims to uphold the teachings of Islam and continue praying for the progress of Nigeria.
The prince made this call during the celebration of Eid-el-Fitr at the Eid Prayer Ground in Ijoun, where he joined family members, friends, political associates, and other well-wishers to mark the occasion.
Speaking with journalists shortly after the prayers, Adewusi, popularly known as PRAADA, emphasized the importance of faith, unity, and national development. He expressed optimism about the country’s future, stating that “Nigeria is on the path of prosperity.”
He attributed ongoing improvements in the country to the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as well as the economic policies of Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun. According to him, the efforts of both leaders are beginning to yield positive results, assuring citizens that better days lie ahead for Ogun State and Nigeria as a whole.
Following the prayers, the prince hosted leaders of the Muslim Ummah at his residence in Ijoun. During the gathering, he pledged to support the completion of the Ansar-Ud-Deen Central Mosque by donating some of the needed materials, describing the project as one that would stand as a monumental edifice upon completion.
