Gboyega Nasir Isiaka has congratulated Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo and the people of Egbaland on the occasion of the 39th Lisabi Festival.
In a statement, the lawmaker described Lisabi Agbongbo-Akala as a symbol of courage, sacrifice and devotion whose legacy continues to inspire leadership and public service across Ogun State. He said the values left behind by Lisabi remain a source of strength for the people of Yewa, Egba, Remo, Ijebu and Awori. 🇳🇬✨
Isiaka noted that Egbaland occupies a special place in his personal journey, recalling that the Abeokuta Continuing Education Centre of the Oyewole family helped reshape his early education through classes at African Church Grammar School.
He also reflected on his time at Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, which he said exposed him to the demands of tertiary education and reinforced the values of discipline, responsibility and community that continue to shape his public life. 🎓📚
The federal lawmaker further commended the Alake’s reign, saying it has strengthened the dignity of Egbaland and elevated the institution of traditional rulership across Ogun State.
According to him, the monarch’s leadership demonstrates that unity can thrive when communities work together while preserving their unique identities and cultural heritage.
Isiaka prayed for long life and wisdom for the monarch and expressed hope that Egbaland would continue to flourish, while the bonds among the various peoples of Ogun State grow even stronger. 🙏🏽👑🌍
